Program benefits include an ongoing series of free monthly educational seminars, health fairs, fitness programs and events. Topics vary and include heart disease, diabetes, breast cancer, menopause, nutrition, osteoporosis and stress management.

Members also receive a free e-mail featuring health and wellness information and news. Call 215-248-8759 to join or take a few minutes to fill out the online form.

Mammography and Breast Examination
Through our breast health services, women of all ages have access to breast health information, diagnostic and clinical services for the treatment of breast disease.
Gynecologic Oncology
Through the Women’s Center’s gynecologic oncology program, patients with gynecologic cancer see gynecologic oncologist Thomas Randall, MD, a specialist who offers the latest in diagnostic techniques and treatment options.
DEXA Scan Bone Density Screening for Osteoporosis
The Women’s Center features the state-of-the-art DEXA scanner, a specialized X-ray device that measures bone density at key sites throughout the skeletal system. The DEXA Scanner can determine a woman’s risk for developing osteoporosis using very low doses of radiation and without the discomfort that can be associated with an invasive procedure. The information obtained from the scan is used by the patient and her physician to determine the best course of treatment should she be at risk for osteoporosis.

An osteoporosis prevention and treatment program is available with Chestnut Hill Hospital physical therapists. Through three outpatient physical therapy sessions, participants will learn how osteoporosis affects their bodies and daily exercises to maintain bone density and strength. Call 215-248-8559 to speak to a therapist or schedule an appointment.
