Academics
The three-year PM&S-36 Podiatric Surgical Residency program offers the resident competent training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Throughout his residency training, the resident will be fully exposed to various trauma, forefoot, and reconstructive rearfoot procedures. Residents will be working with both Orthopedic and Podiatric surgeons due to a great working relationship between Orthopedic Surgery and Podiatric Surgery departments.
The residents will participate in fully integrated rotations at Chestnut Hill Healthcare System, office based practices, and other health care facilities. Some of the training sites include Chestnut Hill Hospital, Abington Surgical Center, Foundation Surgery Affiliates of Fort Washington, Holy Redeemer Ambulatory Surgical Center, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Sacred Heart Hospital, and University of Pennsylvania Sports Medicine Center with Dr. Gary Gordon, Warminster Surgical Center.
