Chestnut Hill Hospital also participates in national cancer clinical trials through the Clinical Trials Support Unit (CTSU) of the National Cancer Institute. Our cancer team has a continuing commitment to gaining knowledge in the rapidly changing world of cancer research through our involvement with CTSU and our membership. Your medical oncologist will discuss current clinical trials with you if they are appropriate for treatment of your type of cancer. Once your doctor has discussed a clinical trial with you and you have agreed to participate, you will meet Linda Messett, BSN, our clinical research nurse.
